Why Community Groups?
The Gospel is all about relationship – relationship with God and relationship with others. Authentic relationships are a core value of Cornerstone, and Community Groups create an environment where people can connect naturally and grow spiritually. God wired us for relationship with each other.
How do Cornerstone Community Groups Function?
Community Groups are small groups of people who meet to grow closer to God and to each other. The main groups will follow the sermon series. There is synergy and unity when people study the Bible together. Everyone chooses which group they want be in. We don't try to "manage" groups. If you go to a group and it's just not a "fit," no problem! Go to a different group! Relationships are meant to flow naturally.
Existing small groups (listed below to the right) are free to continue meeting independently. (If the goal is to connect people and that's already happening, why fix what's not broken?) Existing groups are free to join the sermon series study, or continue to do their own study. If you'd like more information about Community Groups, email
Brian Arnold.
